How many dreamers actually fulfill their dreams?

Guys, I have been on a spiritual roller coaster and I am a living testimony that your dreams are indeed valid.

Nothing was handed to me. Nothing. I hustled my way into the entertainment industry and even now with almost 5 years under my belt it is still not easy for me. There's still so much I want to do.

The overachiever in me is never satisfied. My dreams scare me because they are so big and grand. What scares me even more is knowing that "my" dreams are mediocre in comparison to what God has in store for me.

I am fortunate to be a dreamer and also an executor. I dreamed about this blog for 2 years before actually making it happen. It ended being way more than I ever imagined. I dreamed about working in entertainment and I achieved that goal right after college. I dreamed about hosting and leading my own events and I executed more than one this year with still more to come.

How many of us have dreams but feel like we are not ready to fulfill them? Guess what, that's normal. Sometimes we dream so big that we are not ready to receive that blessing just yet. Our heart has to grow with it before we excel in it. Don't rush success. How many Olympic athletes trained for years before becoming gold medalists? No one knew the beautiful Simone Biles last year. This year she covers numerous magazines and has received ample praise for 

Don't let your dreams and your destiny become a democracy. There will also be an audience of people to deter you from your dreams but you are blessed enough to overcome that. Be confident in what you want and ignore the critics. Your dream is too big for them to understand it. Even your family and closest friends will talk you out of it or question it, so sometimes its best to just keep it to yourself.

Dreamers are the architects of the next generation. If you don't put your dream into fruition a child someone in the world will suffer from it. You never know who you are inspiring.

A dream is an idea that will never go away. It has the DNA of transformation. When you receive the idea you are sometimes not ready to receive it. Your heart has to grow with it. God takes the dream and buries it. Your heart will grow with it. Don't give up on it just because it may seem to big. You will grow and conquer it.

Write down the desires of your heart and watch them come into fruition.

Don't be afraid to be a dreamer. Your destiny is waiting for you.
