Founder/CEO
Amira Onibudo is the founder of Unleash Yourself. She is a media and marketing professional who is passionate about empowering young professionals to overcome fear. She received her start in the entertainment industry by interning at MTV and VH1, and then landed her first job out of college creating short form content across VH1’s digital platforms.
Amira received a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism at Bloomfield College and a Master of Arts in Strategic Communications from Seton Hall University. It was through her studies that she learned the importance of bridging the gap between content creation and content distribution and honed in on her skills to become an integrated marketing professional. She has held positions at Refinery29, News 12 NJ, award winning media agency MediaCom, and currently at ViacomCBS. While working in corporate America, Amira was given the opportunity to manage the intern staff by developing & overseeing their careers. She soon learned that her passion was not only in media and marketing but also empowering young professionals to become the best version of themselves.
She created a brand that upheld that goal and founded Unleash Yourself. Through her organization, Amira propelled her passion and changed the lives of hundreds of professionals around the world through coaching, creating custom videos, and hosting professional development events & panel discussions. Amira is looking forward to continuing her outreach and guiding more young professionals to become the bosses they were born to be.
